Starting rules are conditions or schedules assigned to a published workflow or business process that define when it will run. A workflow will only run if it has a satisfied, enabled starting rule or if is invoked by another workflow, whereas business processes can be run from a starting rule, invoked workflow, or a Laserfiche client application.
